Box Description
A BattleLore Specialist Pack

My uncle was right - the only proper way to study animal biology is in the field! For three days, I have traveled with these long-necked birds. Their strange thumping is unnerving, but progress is rapid and my book is filled with sketches of their always-startled expression. I am better able to read their quizzical faces and have measured the speed of their running charges. But it is the virtuosity of their riders that strikes me most, forcing me to wonder whether I am studying the right animal. Never before have our kin been able to aim and shoot on the run with such lethal grace...

Our hyenas and their masters cannot be said to offer nearly the same elegance. But, what they lack in grace, they make up for in sheer ferocity - all to the delight of our often-demoralized troops. Once they have tasted blood, these beasts never let go and I've seen their jaws crush the sturdiest armor of weeping, fleeing men-at-arms!

- Ibn al-Andalus, Naturalist to the taifa of Granada

This expansion requires the BattleLore game to play.
