My men were so used to seeing d'em goblinoids run away at first sight of blood that we could better tell them apart from looking at their behinds than their gnarly little faces... Then, a week ago, things changed... though not for the better. First we found a couple of our scouts dead, their necks broken and heads smashed, courtesy of a well-aimed stone or two; next thing we know, a deep-bass drum boomed across the plain and their ranks were reforming, as if powered by a sudden surge of courage. But we eventually broke through, and their elites are now within our reach. The tallest of them appear to be armed only with oversized blades attached to crude tree boles.
