BERLIN-RED VICTORY is a detailed new ATS system game that literally recreates the doomed city from the ashes of World War II. Every important building, crossroads, and rubble-pile has been faithfully modeled using period cartography and aerial photographs. No expense was spared in the R and D for this game and the large two-piece game map even includes another dimension in the form of the Berlin subway.
In addition to the faithfully modeled battlefield a unique mix of combatants lurks among the ruins of Berlin. Hitler Youth and Gestapo troops mingle with Volkssturm and die-hard Waffen SS soldiers destined to die with Hitler's doomed Third Reich. But the dictator has hopes of Gotterdammerung in his chosen capitol, and wonder-weapons like the Borgward B IV multiple Panzerschreck AFVs, Wurfgerat rockets and a few last King Tigers wandering the battlefield at the command of ardent Nazi soldiers.
Stalin spared no effort to capture the Nazi capitol. Players will literally experience the planting of the Red Banner on the Reichstag, the dream of the Soviet dictator. And to get there a horde of JS 11, ISU 152, SU 100 and T-34 85 tanks are provided, ready to breach every barrier to victory. When all else fails, massive, tracked 203mm artillery pieces can be towed into place for direct fire missions to smash every last lair of SS 'asphalt soldiers'.
