Box Description The game is set in late prehistory, a time of transition when our distant ancestors, who had struggled and barely survived for ages in very small nomadic groups, began to feel that their lives would be more secure and less arduous if they formed larger groups. This led to the formation of the first villages. Clans has easy rules, but is very challenging. The players try to distribute their huts so they score often and large numbers. But they must keep their color secret from their opponents... Games in a Box Notes This game is quite abstract. At the start of the game, one hut is placed on each territory, thus completely filling the board. Game play consists of moving all the huts from one territory into an adjacent, non-vacant territory. When a territory has seven or more huts, these huts can no longer be moved. When a territory is completely surrounded by vacant lands, it is scored. This game works well with 2 players.
